The Terrell County History Museum, a project of TCHPS, is a cultural heratage facility aimed at preserving the rich past and diverse traditions of the long standing, rural community of Dawson, and the surronding area.

Previous museum exhibits have featured a wide variety of items ranging from antiquated farm equipment to vintage fashion. In addition to the everchanging exhibits, the Terrell County History Museum boasts a permanent collection of wonderful, local artifacts.

The Terrell County History Museum is located behind the Terrell County Chamber of Commerce, at 211 West Lee Street. The museum is operated souly by volunteers who have dedicated their personal time and efforts to preserving our local history. Admission is free, however donations are always welcome.
